The GeoMax 8/33 Maxi Sonde is a vital tool if you need to locate and trace deeply buried service conduits. The 2.17-inch signal transmitter will secure on drain rods, boring tools, inspection cameras, and other equipment that you can use to inspect non-metallic pipes. With the GeoMax EZiCAT Cable Locator, you can detect services as deep as 40 ft (12 m).

With a choice between 8 and 33 kHz, the Maxi Sonde will cover most situations that you will face when detecting and locating non-metallic pipes. This device only requires 3 AA-size alkaline batteries to run for up to 10 hours of continuous use. The alkaline battery means that if you run out of power, the Sonde will accept any readily available standard AA size power source.
